Dan is dedicated to helping others be their best - whether it is helping clients find confidence in their financial future, volunteering for his Church, coaching youth sports, or negotiating with his young adult children!

At Alex. Brown, Dan leads a team of investment professionals that advise entrepreneurs, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals and families. Dan is a Certified Financial Planner^™ Professional (CFP^®) with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, first joining Alex. Brown & Sons in 1989, and then partnering with Eric Philippi in 2003. Dan is inspired by helping families realize and achieve their financial goals.

A New Jersey native, Dan is a father of four and lives in Marblehead, Massachusetts with his wife Christie. Dan earned his Bachelor's degree in Finance from Syracuse University and attended the Securities Industry Institute^® at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Outside of the office, Dan serves on the Finance Group of First Church in Swampscott, Congregational. Previously, he served on the Board of Directors for Boston Cares, as an Overseer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, Chair of the Boston Committee for the Deutsche Bank Americas Foundation, and on the Board of Directors and Travel Coach for Swampscott Youth Soccer.

Dan enjoys boating, skiing, running, travel, singing in the church choir, and being taken for walks by Athena, the family rescue dog.
