    Managing Director

    Client Advisor

With more than a decade of experience providing wealth strategies to high-net-worth clients, Kelia's goal for her clients is to help them retire with financial security and lead a comfortable and predictable lifestyle. With the resources of Alex. Brown, a division of Raymond James behind her, as her client, you can rely on her to deliver on all aspects of financial services with exceptional quality and distinction. In February 2019 Kelia was named to Forbes' list of Best-In-State Wealth Advisors*, which recognizes advisors from national, regional, and independent firms.

Conscientious and focused, Kelia has always had an interest in the stock market. Her father introduced her to his client advisor, which sparked a lifelong passion for the industry. She is committed to remaining current on new tax law information, wealth strategies and investment knowledge so she can provide the highest quality financial assistance.

Prior to joining Alex. Brown, a division of Raymond James in 2016, Kelia gained valuable financial industry experience at such firms as Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank.

Originally from Wilkesboro, North Carolina and very active in her community, Kelia has served as a board member of the Mental Health Association, and in 2016 the Triad Business Journal named her one of the top women in business. Other memberships reflect her personal interests: Kelia is a member of the North American Truffle Growers' Association and the North Carolina Winegrowers Association.

The Forbes ranking of Best-In-State Wealth Advisors, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria and quantitative data. Those advisors who are considered have a minimum of seven years of experience, and the algorithm weighs factors like revenue trends, ALIM, compliance records, industry experience and those who encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients. Portfolio performance is not a criteria due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Out of 29,334 advisors nominated by their firms, 3,477 received the award.

This ranking is not indicative of an advisor's future performance, is not an endorsement, and may not be representative of an individual client's experience. Neither Raymond James nor any of its financial advisors or RIA firms pay a fee in exchange for this award/rating. Raymond James is not affiliated with Forbes or Shook Research, LLC.
