Josh began his career in 1996 in the Palm Beach Merrill Lynch office as an international financial advisor.  He was partnered with his father, Keith Skivington, who worked 55 years in financial services.  They joined Deutsche Bank together in 2009, then transitioned over to Alex. Brown, a Division of Raymond James in 2016.  In 2022, Josh entered into a partnership with his longtime colleague, Lindsay Askland, and they formed Cocoanut Row Advisors.

Josh earned a golf scholarship to Florida’s prestigious Stetson University in 1989. He continued both his studies and collegiate golf at Florida State University, earning a B.A. in finance in 1993 and an MBA in 1994.

Josh has extensive experience in asset location, wealth management and alternative investments.  He assists ultra-high-net worth clients and provides them with unbiased, strategic guidance.

Josh chairs annual golf tournaments for a variety of Palm Beach County charities and civic organizations.  When not helping his clients or his community, Josh can be found on the golf course, fishing in mountain streams, or horseback riding with his wife, Cecilia, and their two daughters.
